A Neoclassic story.
I had the opportunity to decorate and design the singer and also my friend Miriam Bryants home.
When she moved in to her new apartment the earlier owner had change the original turn of century style to a more modern style and she wanted the original touch back.
I asked her what was most important to achieve in her home in order for her to feel comfortable.
Her answer was I want an extremely large amount of hidden and stylish storage, a home that should feel like a five-star hotel suite where I also can invite friends over for cozy dinners, parties and overnight stays.
In this project I had free rein.
So I chose to make an exclusive furniture collection that was tailored to her home and that made the apartment feel spacious, the furniture was important for the apartment to flow as well as possible. I designed everything from the wardrobe, sofa, headboard, bedside table, coffee table, bookshelf, desk and poufs and also a partition wall, even the mirrors were specially designed. We took back the original turn of century style and I chose very delicate and dramatic colors and materials that gave her home the exclusive touch of a five star hotel.
